Biodegradable film is one such food packaging material considered safe for use due to its biodegradable nature, non-polluting characteristics, ability to protect food products, and capacity to preserve the visual appearance of products against environmental influences. Tubers are natural resources that are available abundantly in Indonesia. Therefore, exploration from local tubers resources should be conducted to evaluate the suitability as main materials for producing biodegradable films
