Edible Film merupakan suatu bahan pengemas aktif yang bertujuan untuk mengemas/melindungi produk pangan dari kerusakan dan memperpanjang umur simpan suatu produk. Pemanfaatan pati garut dibidang pangan terutama untuk bahan pengemasan masih sangat jarang dilakukan dan jika dikombinasikan dengan menggunakan plasticizer gliserol agar menghasilkan Edible film yang diharapkan.
