Pineapple is one of the favorite fruits across the globe, therefore, it is required by consumers from various countries. Pineapples, being perishable with a limited shelf life, need special treatments to maintain the quality during distribution, particularly for export. Pineapples with classification peel color 0 are the fruit aged 135 days after forcing, and the pineapple with classification peel color 2 are aged 143 days after forcing. Therefore, this research was conducted to find alternative treatments to maintain the fresh characteristic and to extend the shelf life of pineapples.
