ROOFTOP SOLAR POWER

Rooftop solar power refers to the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels on the roof of a building or structure to generate electricity from sunlight. This decentralized approach to energy production has become increasingly popular as a sustainable and renewable energy solution for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Background Problem

Developing renewable energy, Telkom University has made significant breakthroughs in creating alternative energy sources beyond the electricity provided by the national utility, PLN. Telkom University has installed a Solar Power Plant for a building with significant electricity usage. After the installation of this solar power plant, it is expected to reduce the building's reliance on electricity from the national grid (PLN). The solar power plant, with a capacity of 6,000 VA, has been installed on the rooftop of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering building at Telkom University.

BENEFITS

Energy Independence: Reduces reliance on the national grid by generating electricity directly from sunlight, providing energy security for residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.

TOP Features

Data Analysis and Prediction: Energy Independence: Provides the ability to generate your own electricity, reducing reliance on the national grid and offering greater energy security. Cost Savings: Significantly lowers electricity bills by producing power from sunlight, with the potential for long-term financial savings. Environmental Sustainability: Produces clean, renewable energy, reducing carbon footprint and contributing to global environmental goals.
