Tool for Pollutant Monitoring

Research on environmental technology, specifically low-cost sensor-based air quality monitoring devices.This tool can measure particulate matter smaller than 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5, fine particles), as well as gases like CO and CO2 (carbon emissions), SO2 and HCl (corrosion), O3 and CH4 (greenhouse gases), and NOx (transportation). The device has been calibrated in a laboratory setting, colocated with reference instruments, and data has been validated for long-term measurements.

Focused on efforts to address environmental and sustainability challenges, particularly related to improving air quality.This innovation aims to develop technologies or systems that contribute to reducing air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, thereby creating a cleaner and healthier environment. Additionally, this innovation can be part of broader efforts to support sustainable development goals, such as the use of air quality monitoring devices, low-cost sensors, or smart technologies to measure and reduce pollutants like PM2.5, CO2, and other harmful gases.
